<sub>Mmm, the hall of mirrors. good stuff. Thousands of mirrored panels, each with Odette's own beautiful face staring back at her. The light caught them, bouncing her beautiful profile back and forth, from wall to ceiling. Who wouldn't want to be here?

There weren't any events occurring in the ballroom recently, so the place was barren. The hard wooden floor was polished and smooth, without a speck of dust to it. The mirrors were glossy and perfect (even more so with her frame in them). After Odette had wandered into the hall, she took a lap around, stalking the perimeter of the room, simply to stretch out her legs. She had just woken up from an afternoon nap, something she often took for lack of anything better to do. She was a spoiled child, who ate, slept, and caused trouble as she please. She answered to no-one, not even her father, who she had wrapped around her finger.

Anyways, after wandering around for a moment or two, she sighed restlessly. There was hardly anything to do around here, and to be honest, Odette was growing tired of sitting here in front of the mirrors staring at herself. Not that she wasn't nice to stare at. You know, it just got old after a while. But, alas, she had relented to allow this day to be like any other, and sat in the middle of the ballroom, her icy blue orbs glancing up towards the ceiling. Her mind raced with various fantasies and plans, all of which included exciting trials that would please her, and piss of her father. Yep, that was her life.

Odette finally tore her eyes from the ceiling, and stretched out a fore-leg, running her face down it to scratch her nose. She let out another bored sigh, and let her pose fall towards the floor, where she laid down, placing her head on her extended paws. She emitted a low growl, though nobody was around to hear. It was a growl of boredom, and frustration. Odette was never very religion (another thing her father didn't like), but if she was, she'd be praying for some excitement right now.</sub>

<sub>She had only just began to doze off, her young mind wandering to the old, exciting days at court where she would gallivant around the ballroom, flirting with every duke that passed, and gossiping about the duchesses. They were such fun, beautiful times, and Odette was always up to mischief. But lately the ballroom had fallen silent, thanks to that pesky war. Something was going on between the kingdoms, Odette knew that much. But she didn't really keep tabs on current events. All she knew was that this little quarrel needed to end. She wasn't exactly permitted to visit with the Kardashin men now, and that cut her prey twice in half! Of course, that was just like Odette-to worry about her flirting prospects before caring about a war.

Anyways, her mind had just switched gears back to her plan to woo the Kardashin king, for now she knew it would be even more forbidden than before! That only made her want to succeed more, and she gave a wry smile at the thought. Oh, how angry her father would be if he found out! The prospect was absolutely thrilling.

At that moment, when these ambitious thoughts ran through her head, she heard a voice. Oh! It was her mother, the queen. Somewhat embarrassed that she was thinking such thoughts in the presence of her lady mother (though they were not quite so advanced they could read minds...yet), she gave a small start, surprised at the queen's entrance. Humbled, she stood up and stretched regally, flicking her long white tail and shaking her head as she regained a standing, erect posture.

"Boredom makes me sleepy." Said Odette, with a roll of her eyes. She gave another sigh, that was more of an annoyed growl. She was usually not all that respectful to her parents, but she was kinder to her mother than father. And today, at least, she resigned to be civil. She loved her mother, really, Odette just wasn't one to be inferior and be okay with it. But, like I said, she chose to be kind, and even did so much as give a small smile. Then, choosing to continue the conversation rather than run up to her chambers to be alone (or, you know, not...), she spoke once more. "When can we have a ball? Or event of some sort. This place is so dead."</sub>

Llyr

x three steps took him towards the stream. he looked wairly at it, his friend smirked at him. Llyr shook his cranium and took a half step backwards like he could read his friends mind. the stream was fast running, up to his shoulders if he was to fall or slip in. more a like slip in thought Llyr with a faint smile appearing on solid librums. Llyr saw his friends muscles tense and Llyr lept over the stream but being so far off his back Appendages slipped off the wet and dirty bank. shaking his legs from the liquid crystals he lifted them off the island of the small rocks. Llyr growled and moved forward. it didn't make him furious it was just the morning. it was cold, it had just rained, no sun as far as he was aware and slippery ground. his friend was being a bastard and he was tired. ignoring his friends calls for him, Macula walked into the Castle. Its tiled floors were stone cold under his paws. the staircases to all the different rooms and chambers. Llyr looked around to see if anyone was around, nothing.

x silently walking towards the staircase he saw some paintings up the wall, all the way he went up. All with humans, one with a tiger roaring as a human with a chair. a low laugh escaped the hessians throat as he saw the humans face. trotting futhur up now he felt a bit colder and now hoped the steps would end. The tiles wern't stop now, they were colored tiles. they just broke away from the stone. calming his exitment to un-found things by his naked eye he began to walk. a few walked past but didn't answer his authority in these halls and anyway they were probberly lower in the ranks than he. so he didn't know what they were getting exited about. thinking about his father he wondered who would be his dutchess? thinking about it made his head hurt and wish for someone, but they wouldn't come without effort. coming on a flat place now he finally let out a sigh, he was finally up here. leaping across the hall he saw an open down and lowered his cranium wondering what sort of curious animal was inside there. maybe food, he though smiling, maybe just a male or female. he walked through the door.
