» REGULATIONS
follow 'em, abide by 'em;
or i will sick an angry pack of tigers at you :3

» OUT OF CHARACTER
[»] Play nice. We may roleplay tigers, but that doesn't mean that you can bite your friends out of character. Unless they want to be bitten... ;D
[»] There is no cursing at people out side of role play, and if you happen to have an issue with someone PM one of the Admins here or myself and we’ll take care of things. Because to be honest, fighting is no fun. ;__; If you consistently pick fights with random members, I won't hesitate to ban you.
[»] Respect everyone, be they staff, another member, a guest. There should be no reason for fighting in the C-Box or the boards. Name-calling especially, because really how much more childish can you get? Treat others as you wanted to be treated.
[»] Don't spam. Spamming is one you post pointless messages more than once; this includes in the same post. Posts should always be at least one full sentence, unless you're in the arcade area or in the C-Box and you should always type out your full words. No chat speak.
[»] Don't bother other members via PM, especially not if you're trying to get them to join your site. If they want you to PM them the link, they'll tell you. If they don't ask you to, just post in the advertising board. Maybe they'll be interested in it and join. If they're not, then that's too bad. You shall survive, I promise. :P

» IN CHARACTER
[»] Here, we don't have a post word minimum. Shocking, I know. How often do you find a site as lenient as this? Anyway, bare in mind that though we do not have a word minimum, we also do not promote one liners or a few sentences. We are, after all, more of a moderate to advanced role playing site. But, still--if you are able to construct a beautiful two hundred word post, awesome. If you're able to write a two thousand word post, that's awesome, too. As long as you put some effort into your posts, you won't have a rabid pack of staff members on your tail.
[»] I understand that you everyone has their own different role playing styles, where you do stuff like talk in first person, write your post in an overall unique way, or maybe you even do second person. You can write in whatever style you feel comfortable with--besides, I'm guilty as charged for first person posting. ;D
[»] Sorry guys, but for every character you make, you have to have to have a separate account for each character. However, there won't be a problem with this, because we now have a new feature called Post as Alias.
» POST AS ALIAS
Login on one account you want available then log off and login on another you would like to also use. Do this as many times for as many accounts as you wish to have available then when you are ready to make a post simply select the account you would like to use for that post all from whichever account you're currently logged in on--when you post, you'll see a little thing underneath the subject to select which account you want to use. You must select which account you want to use before typing anything since the drop down disables itself once typing starts in order to avoid losing what was typed. You can set the expiration time for the logins to "forever" to always have those accounts available and never have to login on those accounts again. However if forever not chosen and an account expires then the code will notify you which account(s) are no longer valid.

[»] High ranked tigers, obviously, have more authority than commoners. If your tiger is a commoner, it can't run around the king chanting some random song--that, my friend, is very disrespectful, and chances are you'll be banned from that kingdom.
[»] If you change the color of your post, please make sure it's something legible and won't make everyone's eyes bleed. If it isn't legible, and does make eyes hurt, no one will respond. However, coloring your font at all is looked down upon, because if we change the skin and your font doesn't show up, it's a major inconvenience to the person who's trying to respond to you.
[»] When you're creating your character, it's important to have some faults. Keep the personality somewhat realistic - nobody's perfect. And for appearances, even cute little kitties like our tigers have imperfections. Not everyone's huge, battle-scarred, handsome, beautiful, etc. Don't be afraid to make a grotesque, deformed tiger. Those are the ones we like best.
[»] No powerplaying: Powerplaying is when your character does something to another character without their permission, for example,
"King Fluffy roared at the poor little commoner, and charged at him, biting his foot off."
It should be..
"King Fluffy roared at the poor little commoner, barreling towards him, aiming at his foot with hopes of biting it off."
Another form of Powerplay is when you dodge every hit. It's not possible. So be realistic.
[»] No godmoding: Godmoding is making your character have super powers, or be able to do things that no normal tiger would never be able to do. Just because they're Maltese tigers or something doesn't mean they can call lightning down from the sky and strike their enemies.
[»] You should only be in two or three places at a time with each character, and if you're not active in all the threads you've decided to join in on, the privilege will be taken away. Remember, quality over quantity. Besides, if you start doing that no one will want to post with you.
[»] Many members around the forum like to have images in their signatures and as their avatars. However, all images must be appropriate. Avatars cannot exceed the size 100x100 pixels, and signatures must not exceed the width of 550 pixels; hieght doesn't matter.. You are limited to one image per signature.
[»] A roleplaying game is a game. Don't take anything that happens in character personally. Just because no one likes your character doesn't mean people don't like you.
[»] Graphic breeding IS allowed. This is, after all, a site for mature people. HOWEVER, we do have some young members here, and we don't want to traumatize them; be sure to put a {MATURE CONTENT} tag at the end of your subject if you think that things will reach that level. And remember to try to keep stuff like that to non-guest friendly boards or password protected boards. Little kids, you have been warned.
