The head of the household, Count Gregory, worked hard to be able to befriend the king and earn the right of Man of Honor, thus earning his family a spot high on the totem pole. He is only now making his first few appearances after the death of his wife, who had perished in a forest fire. His brother and sister-in-law had also died in the same fire, and since then he has been taking care of his niece.
