It is the year 2247, and the human race went extinct centuries ago due to an influenza that swept across every nation; many of the other animal species caught the influenza as well, and they died out, too. On of the few places where the disease didn't strike as bad for the animals was the European and Asian continents, and the creatures there thrived. Over time, the dominant race became the big cats, but the one that reigned in population and intellectual ability were the tigers. They developed a complex civilization, similar to that of the medieval era of the humans. The tigers established kingdoms and hierarchies, learning to build extravagant castles and villages. They have proved to become extraordinarily intelligent. Yet, though they have developed such a wonderful life for themselves, that doesn't mean that there won't be any drama.
Welcome to Adélaïde, a medieval-based tiger kingdom role play. Here you get the chance to role play through the eyes of many different breeds of tiger, and play out how you believe their lives should be. Will they excel and will the kingdoms become allies with each other, perhaps join forces to go against the lion civilization of the African continent? Or will war ensue between the kingdoms, and lives be lost? And what will happen to the individuals in between? That's all for you to decide.

carved into the mountain side lies the legendary caerphilly castle. it is the grandest of the castles, the ceilings of nearly every room studded with gems, the floors of a smooth polished rock. half of the grand castle is carved into the largest mountain of the kingdom, the other half fanning out onto flatter grounds. the castle is located nearly directly on the tropical shores of the séraphin sea, and is surrounded by a tropical forest by three sides. here, the royal court of kardashin reside.
found near the gates of caerphilly castle, you can find the kardashin village. here the commoners reside, living in caverns skillfully carved into the mountain side, large paths worn down winding through the rain forest from cave to cave. some of the smaller huts where the less-well off tigers reside may be hollowed out trees or cloth pulled tightly from tree to tree to form a roof above a tigers head.
set directly next to the village and somewhat intermixed with the tiger's dwellings is the marketplace, where traders and salesmen come to sell their goods. this is also where places such as the tavern or the cathedral are. the marketplace is located on the junction where the rain forest gradually shifts to the beach, so some of the buildings fan out on the sands of the tropical shore.
white sand beaches; crystalline blue waters; tropical fish. the séraphin sea is legendarily one of the most beautiful and well known seas known to the big cats. the beach runs for miles, with a cliff side along one end and it borders the thick rain forests.
on the other side of the continent lies the breathtaking bamburgh castle. while the caerphilly castle is ancient and legendary, the bamburgh castle is relatively new, given the former bartholomew castle had been destroyed in the war of lions. this, however, does not take away from the stunning beauty of the castle. built atop a small mountain and surrounded by a thriving rain forest, it overlooks the villages of the bartholomew kingdom and is located close to the bamburgh sea.
the large village surrounds the mountain that the bamburgh castle is built upon, where the commoners of the bartholomew kingdom reside in. the village is distinctively unique and beautiful, for the tigers that had been handpicked by the king decided to bring on a new style of building. The homes are not, as is traditional for commoner homes, carved into a hillside or mountainside; they are carefully constructed similar to that of the castles, with stone blocks. the less wealthy commoners, however, often live in a tent built between two trees and with a cloth.
the village of the bartholomew kingdom slowly shifts into the market place, where traders and salesmen come to sell their goods. you can also find buildings such as the tavern or cathedral intermixed with the many small huts that have shops in them. like the village, the marketplace buildings were carefully crafted with stone blocks, and have ornate designs carved into their walls.
not so much a mountain as it is just a very large, steep hill, the carnzin mountain is nonetheless a marvelous place. ruins of the former bartholomew castle stand scattered around the mountain, preserved by the tigers for decades since the war of lions, with vines growing up the stone walls and tropical trees looming over the fallen towers.
along either side of the continent lies each kingdom in a tropical climate zone, but as you travel inward toward the center of the continent the tropical foliage and colorful birds slowly fringe off into a more temperate climate as the elevation raises into large mountains. small creeks flow down the mountains into rolvolio lake, providing a water source for any lone tigers that venture into these lands.
located in the outskirts of the ciarion forest, mount hora is the largest mountain on the continent. The size of the mountain was what had prevented any of the humans further explorations. Therefore, the foliage upon and surrounding the mountain remains untainted. If any are willing, the view from its peak is quite magnificent; after a long day's trek, a tiger can stand at the top of the mountain and see all of the unclaimed land, and if they look hard enough, perhaps one of the kingdoms in the distance. It truly is the largest mountain, perhaps in the world.
near the center of the continent in between two mountains lies the largest freshwater lake on the entire continent. the land surrounding it starts out rocky and perilous, but as you carefully pick your way through you will find yourself with your paws pressed against warm sands and a gentle breeze tugging at your fur. the lake itself is not very deep at all, nearly a tigers shoulder height in the middle, but that does not take away from it's vast width. the skies above the lake are always a striking blue that resembles sapphires, the clouds often wispy and dreamlike.
located new rolvolio lake, the terrain dubbed "stone hill" by the tigers across the continent is actually the ruins of a small mountain village that the humans had built, centuries ago. tigers who are unable to gain a living in either kingdoms often travel to these ruins, seeking the shelter of the abandoned stone buildings.
